This is how you can start your own gig

It’s difficult for many of us to imagine escaping the 9 to 5…to be able to do our own thing.
It can be done, though, if there is a strong will to do so.
It certainly helps if you can first build an asset base and a buffer to see you through the first 12 to 24 months, while keeping low overheads in the early days will greatly improve your odds of success.
What you need first and foremost is a product, concept, or an idea for how you can add more value to more people.
And then you need to work out how you can deliver that value in a scalable fashion.
Once you have the product or service mapped out, there is a tried and tested model for attracting new customers of clients, converting these enquiries into sales and new business, and then transmitting the value efficiently to your clients.
Rather than trying to continually make sales one-to-one, the key is to build a reliable and repeatable pipeline for building new leads and making new sales.
All of the above having been said, possibly the biggest hurdle of all to overcome is self-doubt.
